Many people already use the rare survivor transform schematic to gain extra survivor exp. For those who don't already know you can unlock an unlimited transform to produce survivor cards (upto rare) by using the survivor currency which you get from saving survivors in missions. It costs 25 survivors and a only an item or 2 to transform for an extra rare survivor. _______________________________________________ __Now here is where it gets complicated, but this will allow you to maximize your survivor exp gains from transforming. So if you have max survivor currency which is 1,000, you can make a total of 40 survivors. Each rare is worth 750 exp for a grand total of 30,000 exp. This is not bad for some extra exp but what I have learned is far more effective in gaining exp. An uncommon survivor (green) only costs 5 survivors to make, and is valued at 400 exp per retire. So with max survivor currency you can transmute 200 times, for a total of 80,000 exp. This is a huge increase in the potential exp gains.
The only tricky part is that you can only use common, and uncommon items for the transmute since the goal is too not fill the required bar to produce a rare. You can just use all of your trash items you receive and turn them into green survivor cards. And once you've done that you can then transmute 2 green survivors for 1 new additional one. This can be a little time consuming but the pay out is a sizable chunk of survivor exp. This is by far the best method I have found for gaining as much survivor exp as possible. Hope this helps you guys out!______________________________________ EDIT: This is simply the best method too maximize exp, if you need manuals stick to creating rates. Also for the questions concerning expeditions, from what I have gathered in game medium expeditions seem to be the most consistent with a cost of 15-25 people and rewarding 2 survivors at a minimum of 1 common and 1 uncommon with upto 1 rare and 1 uncommon. That being said you are getting survivors without trading any other items, and if you lack items to transmute this method is not bad for manual/exp gains.
